Summing up: On
Pathway A we articulated our Earthfolk identification and interpretation
of the four themes that thread through
the three Big Stories. Each Big
Story
1) is sourced in an emotion of
dreadful fear,
2) identifies and names the Other as
Intimate Enemy,
3) seeks to annihilate the goddess and/or the feminine and
4) expresses its heartfelt values through a self-fulfilling apocalyptic story
of self-annihilation.
On Pathway B we identified
- the abusive divine parenting expressed in Genesis 2-3's
Rib account
- the insight that the Dark Father has a Dark Mother consort
- the wild imaginings that permeate the
Rib account
- notably, the characteristic and quality of Lone Maleness, and
- the astonishing and baffling claim that "the male body is the
birthing body"
Then, we explored what we grasped through the practice of sensual
immersion:
- the meanings of nakedness, the Serpent, cursing and exile
- all to more fully ground our insight that Genesis is all about
sacred sexuality, namely,
- that there is none, at least in the Lone Male's world of sexuality,
sacredness and spirituality
