The Internet is the first truly pure Secular
space created since the beheading of the French
King. While the Kingless secular space was maintained,
socially and politically, for a very brief span of
historical time, until Napoleon crowned himself Emperor of the
French and King of Italy in 1804, the
Internet provides
Non-Sacred Secularism with the
opportunity and ability to redefine
global and local,
communal and individual,
personal and intimate
time and space.
In redefining what
a purely Secular “time” and “space” means,
the Internet redefines what individuality, society, culture and market
capitalism mean.
Of note is that the Internet is physically
a nearly-boundless and atemporal world—and
experientially a robustly boundless
and atemporal world.
The Internet is Non-Sacred Secularism Triumphant.
