Introduction
Pathway A—Seeker simply
presents our Earthfolk vision of sensual preciousness without an in-depth exploration
of why and how we developed the vision and practice. In like manner,
Pathway C—Belover presents fundamental Earthfolk
rituals and practices without always clarifying the experiential
or intellectual
sources that gave rise to the rituals. The shared goal of Pathways
A and C is to get individuals who want to "get to the core,
quickly" off
and running with integrating sensual preciousness into their lives.
Pathway B requires that you
have travelled Pathway A.
If you need a refresher, read "Background:
Crisis and Discovery"
on this Pathway. If you
have journeyed along either Pathway A or C, you have probably encountered
one or more background and introductory sections. If so,
anticipate repetition of main concepts, etc., in Pathway
B's background piece. However, its distinctiveness is that
it leads to an explanation of why Pathway B focuses on the concept of Big
Story.
You may opt to skip the
background piece...and start on this Pathway with "Becoming
sensually precious and Big
Stories."
Pathway B presents
the intellectual roots of the Earthfolk vision
and imagination. This references the thought-process that
identified and valued certain data from which the vision and imagination
of sensual preciousness creatively arose. There will be some scholarly
side-treks and an assemblage of links to other websites.
Equally, for Earthfolk,
the brainy thought-process is fed by the heartbeat.
Intellectual roots feed upon experiential blood.
Complementing the intellectual analysis is the story of one intellectual activist's
heartfelt journey and discovery of the Earthfolk vision and imagination.
Pathway
B is intended to be shaped by interaction with you.
Over time, this pathway will have numerous and disparate off-shoots as
the varied
and challenging aspects of your understanding are integrated
into this pathway.
We anticipate that you will respond, react and co-create this
pathway by contributing your insights drawn from you own favored way of understanding,
e.g., referencing your experiences in
the
arts,
politics, economics, history, theology, evolutionary biology,
poetry, and so forth.
Part 2 will post
your responses and indicate their impact on the overall Earthfolk
Big Story.

about the three Big Stories?"
