Slavery and Sex
In
many cases, the slave became sexually
intimate. Notably, it
was an intimacy between male slave masters and female slaves. It
is fitting
to quote Genesis 2:23—“And Adam said, This is now bone
of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because
she was taken out of Man.”—because
what the slave master wanted most was
slave women/sex slaves and
subordinated,
and submissive
“feminized” male slaves
(who also were healthy and able workers is a given).
Of great account is the fact that, in the main,
children of slave
masters died enslaved.
The slave master not only captured and/or bought
slaves, but slaves came from his own flesh—from his Rib, for
which he needed the presence of the goddess as Dark Mother.
Having sexual relationship with African females (whether
through violence or even tender feelings) was the ultimate act of dominion and domination
—not
just of the female but of the
enslaved male, himself.
