But just as we
as individuals are only made fully present to
our preciousness when we engage within a nurturing
embrace with an Other—the male
with the female, the female with the male both inside and outside
our personal presence—so did the
presence of the Mother make us aware of the presence of
the Father in a way we had never experienced,
that is, as a nurturing presence.
We came home because our parents welcomed
us!
More, the iconic Starship Earth image stunned the
gathering Earthfolk as we sensed that other human bodies were our
own.
That every other
is a precious Other,
and that through a nurturing embrace is
how everyone's precious Otherness is evoked.
When the embrace of the precious
Other makes present each as Beloved, this is
the nurturing embrace. The discovery of the
precious Other as Beloved is another aspect of what Earthfolk
call sensual immersion—a sensing which redefines and re-imagines who
we are as individuals and who we can become in group identity,
namely, a Forever-Family of Beloveds.
