Having been raised within the Warrior's
Quest vision and imagination, we readily grasped that the dropping of
the Atomic Bomb was the fulfillment of the Warrior's
Quest dream of an apocalyptic end to the Earth.
On its own terms, the Warrior's Quest vision was imagined and actually
materialized as the Atom Bomb.
Although it was said that the Atom
Bomb was dropped on the Japanese, a very specific
and geographically defined enemy, in fact, with sojourning senses
Earthfolk asked, "Why did you drop the Atom Bomb
on yourself?" Earthfolk realized the queer
fact that the Warrior's Quest vision imagines the production
of the apocalyptic weapon that annihilates the warrior,
himself!
Once the Atom Bomb exploded,
life on Earth for the Warrior Quester was finally
over. In short, the
Warrior Quester had finally
killed Earth,
rendered it lifeless,
slew his Mother.
Yet at the very same moment Earthfolk
gained sight of Mother! and felt the
presence of the Living Earth Mother and Father.
How could this be?
Earthfolk came to understand the role and interplay between
cultural ritual and
individual, personal ritual.
