and sense what happens when a child is conceived
and born from a dramatically different perspective. We
see the child as clear evidence that personal intimacy is
the Living Earth's own creating space. More,
that we can—like potters—consciously
and intentionally mold and create human presences. What else
is the ongoing, life-long act of parenting but
the conscious and intentional molding and creating of the child's
personality?

as Other. When a family consciously and intentionally seeks
to be a place where the preciousness of the Other is made manifest
as Belovedness, then the fullness of an individual's
personality blossoms.
