The initial Secular ritual.

To creatively
imagine
and then
produce
and actually
explode
the atomic bomb, an innovative
Secular ritual
was developed.

Ritual refers to both individual and communal acts. Rituals are often ceremonies that enable a person to enter a new phase of living. For example, the Roman Catholic Church’s seven sacramental rituals address a) the growth phases of the typical human life-cycle. Baptism, birth. Confirmation, emergence into adulthood. Marriage, formation of the family. Extreme Unction, burial of the dead. b) The needs of the community. Confession, reintegration into the community after violating a moral code. Communion, celebration of communal identity. Ordination, anointing community leaders who administer the sacraments.

These rituals normally take place in a
special place
that is
dedicated
to the performance of these rituals. In the
Abrahamic
tradition, these special places are considered
sacred
or precious, that is, mosques, synagogues, temples and churches. In these sacred places the
individual
and the group has a
transcending
, often transforming, experience as he and they personally
encounter
their god.

As Earthfolk’s sojourning eyes observed, the three Big Stories exhibit a developmental synergy. This is driven by the lone male energy that is at the core of the Warrior’s Quest. (An energy that is conveyed by through the ages by images of Abrahamic male gods.)

Quite early in the Abrahamic story this core energy manifested itself through god’s general, Joshua. His action at the city of Ai set down the ritual template for how Abrahamic warriors are to approach the Other.
