Earthfolk look about and see that
Secular free sex has created a few unintended
consequences.
Sexual violence and
sexual predation are rampant.
Stories glorifying such trends abound in
popular music and film. A whole
global sex-tourist industry has matured and become amazingly successful
with a focus on trafficking in children. The "free
sex" issue is
not one of homosexuality, heterosexuality, trans-sexuality,
bi-sexuality—it is
not about sexual preference, rather
it is about
sexual violence, the abuse of children, and the
obliteration of the sense of intimacy.
Recently, the Abrahamic
tradition shamefully confessed to its millennia of
child sexual abuse. While some state
that it was just “a few rotten apples,” in point of fact,
the vast, globally omnipresent Roman Catholic
Church protected sexual criminals in their
ranks. The cover-up
is the uncovering of what is rotten at the
core of the Abrahamic tradition—annihilation of the
feminine through sexual violence.
What greater sexual violence is there but to tell children that they
have no mother? That no one loves them? And then throw
them out of the house, cursing at them?
The Genesis mythic story
is a mythic story because it reflects true human relationships. Stories
arise to explain or justify human actions and experiences. The
sexual violence in Genesis reveals that child abuse
has been going on for millennia—it is
the concluding act of the story of origin: cursed
and exiled.
That the Abrahamics (Jews, Christian,
Muslims and Mormons) have modeled their theology and
spirituality on this story of origin, and that Secularist have translated
it into a "free sex movement" is mind-boggling
to Earthfolk, but also a clear indication of the source of today’s
never-ending orgy of sexual violence. In sum, the Warrior's
Quest manifest itself through all three Big Stories.
