When you embrace in respectful
intimacy, this is a nurturing embrace. At
moments you pulse back and forth—you are the
Other and then you, again. Consider the illustration of an ellipse
that has two foci. Within a nurturing embrace the male/female
energy flows from each foci—you and the Other—and
outward to creatively imagine and so nourish the Living
Earth.

Right now, whether you are conscious of
the fact or not,
you act out the ritual of the
Atom Bomb on a daily basis. You do so as
you imagine the Other as Intimate
Enemy—often as sub-human.
Based on the vision and values of the
three Big Stories, you
cannot help but be living an
emotionless, non-intimate, fear-filled
life, and as you do
you continue to infuse the Living Earth’s mind
and heart with the
self-annihilating vital zest that
first
arose from the atomic blast.
