Where else do
we have to look to so clearly discern how we humans
creatively imagine with our personal intimate energy and
then mold this coupled energy into a physical, tangible,
sensate Other?
Yet, creating life can appear pedestrian. "Hey,
any two yo-yo's can make a baby. What's the big deal?" This
would be the type of question that a Warrior's Quester throws
out. For them, human life is basically worthless—just a
cloud of atoms. Isn't this the revelation of
their Atomic Bomb?
Warrior Questers look at the Atomic Bomb's "birthing" moment
and say, "It shows that all we humans
are is a cloud of atoms." The unspoken value statement
that goes along with that is, "At our core, we humans are just cosmic
stuff. No big deal!"
You—just
a "Poof!"
Earthfolk—as sojourning aliens—see
and sense what happens when a child is conceived
and born from a dramatically different perspective. We
see the child as clear evidence that personal intimacy is
the Living Earth's own creating space. More, that
we can—like potters—consciously and
intentionally mold and create human presences. What else is the
ongoing, life-long act of parenting but the conscious
and intentional molding and creating of the child's personality?
Warrior Quester negative responses include: "Most
kids are unintended accidents of lust!" Or, "You're
so egocentric! Kids—luckily for them—are not parental robots.
They've their own genes. Get real, they grow up despite their
parents!"
