The Declaration of Independence has not been amended with
a re-introduction of Jefferson’s deleted paragraph.
Until that happens, it is proper to present slavery as the
third theme in America’s Dark Story.
Consider: To so amend the Declaration would
require re-evaluating the Christian biblical tradition
of which American slavery is a prized flower.
It would mean nothing less than accepting the presence of the Dark
Mother in Genesis and Her presence at the origins of “America.”
Is there any—even a glimmer—of reasonable hope that
America will acknowledge and integrate with its Dark Story? Earthfolk
realize that the two events—dropping the
Atomic Bomb and militarizing outer space—made real America's
apocalyptic self-annihilation.
"America," truly, no
longer exists.
The Warrior's Quest vision—sourced
in the three themes of America's Dark Story—is the emergent and
emerging Big Story that Earthfolk seek to draw you to examine and
evaluate.
Chillingly, it is the culture
of slavery that today drives the Warrior's
Quest's predatory globalization
attitudes towards poor people of color everywhere. As noted
on this site, the global slave trade is thriving—economically
and sexually.
In Earthfolk eyes, “America” as manifested
as a Civil Religion sect of the broader Protestant Revolution
has given rise to the Warrior's Quest whose heart
of darkness beats
fiercely and hungers for global dominion
and domination—in brief, the Warrior Quester seeks to
enslave all peoples, everywhere.
