The Living Earth’s Skin
You are the
Living Earth’s skin.
Your human Otherness is bounded
by your individual, personal skin.
Skin is the how the Forever-Family makes
itself present and manifest—through
constantly and continually creatively imagining more
skin—
you!
Intimacy can be phrased as a need for
skin. When we seek intimacy we seek out the skin of an Other whom we
desire to make our beloved through a nurturing embrace.
Embracing is the wrapping around each
other’s skin. We express our preciousness by inviting our beloved
to sensually immerse in our skin and we in theirs: smell, lick, touch,
caress, we press an ear to hear their heartbeat.
When we sexually couple
we offer our skin each to the other. We couple together and become
one skin. The ecstatic moment arrives when we are orgasmic
together, breathing together, kissing, drenched, immersed, flowing …when
we uncouple all is aglow, all is Wow!
As is always the situation, we Earthfolk place
an emphasis on skin because of the role and meaning of skin
in Genesis.
Let’s look at Genesis as a story of skin.
