spiritual and religious traditions
                are considered fantasies and harmful
for the development and progress of the human race.
              This tradition often defines itself
in terms of what it rejects from the dominant Biblical
Abrahamic tradition—the existence of divinities, of a supernatural
order, of morality sourced in a Revelation.

                It generally accepts and
                honors Scientism.

               As a self-organizing movement,
its popular acceptance as a Big Story is a relatively new
                phenomenon.
              While, like Scientism, it lacks
a seat of authority or an official leader, it is
claimed that there is a "secularizing movement"
                afoot.

The existence of which is quite
often identified by Abrahamic followers when something happens to
lessen their spiritual and moral influence.

                  For some, the founding
of America was a secular triumph in that it replaced
the Abrahamic tradition's Divine Right of Kings with the
                    newly mythic "We, the People."
