Why the disconnect between thinking and feeling? Sojourning aliens discern that just as the Abrahamics promoted the superiority of the male, male energy and male spirituality, in like manner does the Scientist/Scientismist quest for the superior "scientific" state of emotionlessness. As Adam lived before Eve was created from his rib—which we can simply assume was in a state of emotionlessness since there was no other human being in the Garden!—so the Scientist/Scientismist seeks such a male-only emotionality.

Since Earthfolk see the feminine as the source energy for such core acts of engendering human emotional health as embracing, holding in comfort, and nurturing, what the Scientist and Scientismist seek is—when looked at with sojourning alien eyes—quite perplexing. But then it is understandable when the connection with the Abrahamic state of emotionlessness is grasped.

Such a state of emotionlessness is clearly a state of altered emotionality that manifests itself in an altered state of consciousness. It is a special state not every individual can achieve—you must become a "trained scientist." For scientific work to be accepted as scientific knowledge, you have to demonstrate that you have learned the skill of emotional detachment. To reach this goal, you are academically trained and degreed. When expert at this skill, you are accepted by your peers as a member of the "scientific community."

Notably, when, as a scientist, you don the “white medical jacket” or “lab coat,” this is a ritual act recognized by your peers and others. It is an act of identification—you become “Doctor” or “Professor”—and it is assumed by observers that now you will follow a professional and/or moral code. For medical professionals, it is the Hippocratic oath. For academic and research professors, it is the implied oath of faithfulness to the scientific values of empiricism, rationalism and reductionism.
