Two key points:
1) The short history of science, especially in the
West, is a chapter in military history. Almost every
great invention has been spurred on by some military need, that is,
“in the national interest.” Scientism America is the most
militarized economy of all time. And it is
this militarization which is the prime driving force of globalization.
We humans are
armed to the teeth as never before.
Understood in this light, the Race to the Moon as a
military venture is not surprising.
2) While there are some scientists who claim a “new
science” (which some call a noetic science) in which
they apply the terminology and models of Quantum physics, fractal mathematics,
and biological models which speak of the Living Earth as Gaia, these
views are still of minor influence in the crusade of
globalization. However, Earthfolk are profoundly moved by this noetic
science and its implications for a new vision for the Scientism Big Story.
